Current federal update: SAVE is no longer available for new enrollment, and affected borrowers should watch for July 1, 2026 repayment-plan notices. Start with the SAVE guide.

Editorial Policy

Source standard

Program pages on StudentDebt.ai are generated from official U.S. Department of Education and Federal Student Aid sources. We do not publish generic articles for these pages. Every published page must have source-backed metrics and a visible source ledger.

Quality gate

A page is only published when it clears our current thresholds for metric coverage, citation count, uniqueness, and closed-school status. If the current PEPS overlay flags a school as closed, that page should not ship.

Review process

The pSEO system is deterministic: structured source data is normalized, checked, and transformed into visible summaries. We review the methodology and output design under this editorial policy so pages stay aligned with what the official data actually says.

Editorial reviewer

Pages are reviewed by the StudentDebt.ai Editorial Team for source alignment, crawlable headings, visible citations, and borrower-safety language. We do not claim to be your loan servicer, attorney, financial planner, or the U.S. Department of Education.
